Questhold

A family chore app for iPhone that plays like a cooperative game.

What it is

Parents set up the household and post chores as quests. Kids complete them, earn experience points, level up and unlock rewards the family agrees on together, like a trip to the park or a later bedtime.

Everyone is on the same side. There are no leaderboards, no penalties for a missed day and levels never go down. In the game's words, parents are the Game Masters and kids are the Adventurers.

Who it's for

Families with children who'd like chores to feel a bit more like a game and a bit less like nagging. Kids can use their own iPhone or a profile on a parent's phone or a shared family iPad.

Privacy in brief

Your household's information stays on your devices and in your own iCloud. Outerlaced runs no servers for the app, has no accounts to sign up for, and receives none of your data. No ads, no analytics, no tracking. Kids are only asked for a nickname and an emoji.
